Our Laboratories

Lab Medicine Department of our hospital savar, located in level-2 of the hospital, has five laboratories with each lab under supervision of post-graduate doctors. The department has the following laboratories:

3. Clinical Pathology
4. Microbiology & Immunology
5. Histopathology
6. Molecular Diagnostics

Dengue and Chikungunya are transmitted by the same type of mosquito (aedes) and have similar symptoms.Therefore it is very important to find out whether the suspected disease is Chikungunya or Dengue before beginning the treatment. To address this issue our hospital savar is pleased to announce the starting of “Detection and differentiation of Chikungunya virus and Dengue virus FROM THE FIRST DAY OF FEVER by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)”. There is no need to wait for week to develop antibody which people check by ELISA or ICT method.

AMBULANCE

The Ambulance service at Super Medical Hospital provides emergency support to patients who require it. In order to bring patients who call for ambulance they need to provide their home address, cell number to the ambulance driver.

VACCINATION

We ensure vaccines are available to all people, especially the poor and vulnerable in an effective way. Vaccines are provided by the Government of Bangladesh. We at the hospital also maintain the cold chain and delivery of the vaccines.
